There are many good reasons to learn a language. These are the reasons to learn Spanish that some of my students shared with me.
✈️ Travel:
For most of them, this is the main reason. They want to be able to communicate with Spanish speakers when they travel.
🎶 Music:
Reggaeton music is the youngest students’ favorite. They want to be able to understand the lyrics. Spoiler: sometimes it can be disappointing, especially if you are a feminist.
🗺️ Cultural immersion:
Students who want to move to a Spanish-speaking country either permanently or temporarily, such as digital nomads, au pairs, etc.
📺 Series:
Some Spanish series are becoming more and more popular in other countries.
